TheGlock 18C, known in-game as theG18C, is an automatic9mmPistoladded January 30th, 2018 in the v0.2.3 "Glock n' spiel" update on January 20, 2018.

The G18C is a very common gun, like theOT-38and theM9, and can be found almost anywhere. It uses 9mmAmmunitionand can be dual-wielded. Dual G18C's have one of the highest fire rates, but it has a wide spread and burns through heaps of ammo. It can be considered aMAC-10with a higher DPS but wider spread.

Strategies

Using

The G18C can be useful against opponents with low health or unarmed encounters early-game. But it is generally not viable late-game due to its low damage and magazine size.

It uses a lot ofAmmunition, and it is very inaccurate, which leads to many wasted shots. Keep an eye on ammo reserves.

Since the G18C is aPistol, they can be dual-wielded. Due to the wide spread of Dual G18Cs, they can substitute for aShotgun. However, it chews through Ammunition quickly with as many as 34 rounds and has a higher spread than most shotguns. Dual-wielding the G18C also severely increases the reload time. It also has lower damage per shot than buckshot shotguns, such as theSaiga-12and theM870.

This is useful for spraying and at close range wherein you can kill someone without a great aim.

It's also effective for destroying opponents where there are a lot of surrounding walls or when inside a building, as the opponent has a harder chance of avoiding the large spread of the bullets, and they will often ricochet

Dual G18Cs have a very high fire rate. This allows for short and quick fights.

The Dual G18Cs are very useful in squads since you can hit several enemies at once.

Hide in a bush or between two trees, and when someone walks by, ambush them. If they don't die, then finish them off with your secondary weapon ormelee weapon.

Use "dual" dual (two G18C duel wielded) G18C as while having a ridiculous reload time for both guns, you will be able to kill almost everyone if you can get close enough.

This is only advised for skilled players as this is very dangerous since you can easily be picked off bySniper Riflesand can be countered by Shotguns.

Dual G18Cs should be considered an entirely new weapon, as they are far different from a single G18C. If battling in close combat (such as in a bunker), Dual G18Cs can win almost any battle, even against weapons such as a Vector. Although the MP220 will prove to be a challenge as it fires two quick shots.

On theCobalt Map, classes such as theTankandAssaultare good matches for this gun, as a Tank can useEndless Ammoto shoot without worrying about running out of ammo, andHollow-pointsandFirepowerallow bonus damage and a larger magazine size, so you can run through entire squads very quickly.

Countering

Stay at a medium distance away, as this gun doesn't have a very long range.

If your enemy has Dual G18C, go for the kill when they're reloading because Dual G18C's have a very long reload time of 3.8 seconds.

Use quick-firing shotguns such as theMP220or theSaiga-12to kill them before they deal too much damage.

The poor range and spread of the G18C make for an easy counter. Almost any gun can outmatch the G18C at long ranges.

Vectors are especially good at this as they have a very high fire rate, tighter spread, and decent range, meaning you could attack them from far away.

Trivia

In terms of DPS, dual-wielded G18Cs are second only toMP220andFrag Grenadesat close range.

G18Cs have a small size but can fire faster than theMAC-10and even theVectorwhile dual-wielded.

The icon for the G18C does not have an ejection port. It could be on the other side, but that would mean that the fire-mode selector would be on the visible side.

It was originally called "Glock 18C", but this was changed in the v0.4.2 "Sun's out, guns out" update on June 21, 2018, along with the HK416 to theM416. This is done because of copyright issues.

Its internal ID is still "Glock".

The G18C is one of 4 pistols that can be spawned in dual as a single item. It spawns this way in theScoutClass Podand theGolden Eye Chest, which is in the basement of theAlternate Barn.

In real life, The Glock 18 is a variation of the Glock 17 that can achieve automatic fire.
